Besides our Northern Lakes Indoor Collection we also build a complete line of Outdoor Cedar Log Furniture. The entire line is made with Northern White Cedar (Thuja Occidentalis). White cedar is naturally resistant to insects and decay which makes it a perfect choice for outdoor furniture.

All Cedar Log Furniture is subject to a natural process called “checking”. As the furniture dries, checking can occur. This normal result of wood seasoning occurs only on the surface of the wood, and does not affect the wood’s structural performance. In fact, we believe these characteristics only add to the natural beauty of your furniture. Checking can range from very slight slivers to cracks running the full length of the log to the heart of the wood. Checking is completely normal and in no way affects the strength of the furniture.
