Assembling Your Serenity Barrel Sauna

Please check the Material List to ensure Serenity Barrel Sauna package is complete.
1.Take the 2 pieces that have a curve in the top and place on a solid level spot, these will end up being the base of your barrel sauna.
2.There are 2 pcs. of wood 6″ wide, screw these on the sides (at the bottom) of the first 2 pcs. to support them.
3.You then fill the curved part of your barrel sauna base with the 2×6 cedar boards that have a 1.5″ groove on both ends ( the grooves need to be facing up) your end walls will fit into them.
4. ?????? ????? ?????? The back wall section will be in 3 sections, place 1 of the 4 half moons into the cradle on both ends. The seat brackets are already fastened on these half moons and you need to make sure both are at what is going to be the bottom of your barrel sauna. There is also a vent in one half moon which goes to the back end of the sauna.
Hint: For a professional look make sure back and front half moon sections are parallel with each other.
5. There is a pencil mark on the end walls of the barrel sauna, make sure you insert the walls only to that mark, this will give you room for tightening and closing any gaps later.
6. Insert Staves (boards going around the sauna) in the bottom half moons making sure the boards are tight together and at the pencil mark.
7. Now you need to put the middle oval wall sections on top of the half moons, screw them together as seen in photo below.
8. Insert sauna staves around the barrel until you are the top of the oval wall sections. It is very important to keep the staves close together and positioned at that pencil mark.(You may need to place a stave in the middle at the very top to stabilize the walls.)
9. Now you insert the last 2 half moon sections on top, making sure you have the seat brackets matching the seat brackets at the bottom of sauna. Insert Screws to hold in place.

Now complete the Installation of the sauna staves, again keeping the boards as close together as possible and positioned at that pencil mark on the walls.
11. Take both ends of your bands and fasten together with 12″ bolt supplied, then slide it over the end of the sauna until it is 2″ in from the outside edge. The tightening ends of the band will be on the bottom of your sauna, right now this will be on the side to ease assembly. (you will turn the sauna later on)
12. It is important to install the 2 end bands first and tighten them until they are snug. Then you install the middle band. Tighten 3 Bands together until they are as tight as you can make them. You will need to tap the staves around the outside with a rubber mallet to position them properly.
13. When you have the 3 bands tight you will then turn the sauna in the cradle so your door is vertical and the bench supports on the inside of the barrel are on the bottom half. ????? ????????
14. Fasten both the Door handle and the towel bar on your door. Both have pre-drilled holes.
15. Install the pre-fabricated sauna floor; this must be done before you install the seats.(If you ordered a Sauna Floor)
16. Take both seats and set them on the brackets on the inside, there are also separate legs included to screw to the under side of the seat and to the sauna floor.
17.When you are sure the barrel sauna is square on the cradle insert 2.5″ screws into the cradle of your sauna.
18. Electric, Heater is included in manufacturers box and ready for a local certified electrician to install for you.
19. Wood Burning. There is a hole in the back wall and the screws are included to fasten stove.
Stove is VERY Heavy! Make sure it is parallel with the pre-cut opening before fastening.
